DR. H. H. HOLMES

- The history of serial killers in the USA has experienced many cases of inhuman serial murderers, the first of which is H.H. Holmes, who was kept in prison by accident but was convicted for committing several crimes.

- Holmes' real name was Herman Webster Mudgett, he was a drug store owner and murderer who was obsessed with money and murdered people for money, but more importantly he possessed significant power over women who turned out to be his mistresses.

- Holmes was capable of raising money through financial fraud; he cashed bad checks, he fabricated loans from non-existent properties and mortgaged the books of the drugstore in fictitious names. He did this after being caught and punished for scamming and fraud in his early years.

- The police found secret rooms, doors, stairs to nowhere, moving walls, asphyxiation chambers, vats of acid, a gas-fired crematorium, and tools for torture and executions, as well as human bones in Holmes' house. Holmes confessed in killing 20 people, though it is unknown how many other victims were killed.

- Psychopaths have no normal mental capacity, fail to conform to social norms, are deceitful and reckless, and lack remorse.
